H.R.H Camilla, Future Queen Consort of the United Kingdom

Welcome to the Life of the future Queen Consort of the U.K and its 16 realm.

Her Majesty Queen Elisabeth II R hosted His Royal Highness Prince Karim The Aga Khan IV on March 8th for a private dinner at Windsor Castle. The dinner was in celebration of The Aga Khan's Diamond Jubilee of the his leadership as Imam of the Shia Ismaili Muslim Community.

Members of the British Royal Family who attended were Their Royal Highnesses: Prince Charles Prince of Wales, Camilla Duchess of Cornwall, Princess Anne and Sir Timothy and Prince Andrew Duke of York. Also present as well were members of the Aga Khan Royal Family: Princess Zahra Aga Khan, Princess Salwa Aga Khan(formely Kendra Spears)

Their Royal Highnesses the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall on Thursday February 22nd presented The Queen’s Anniversary Prizes for Higher and Further Education at Buckingham Palace.

This is the 12th round, prizes are awarded every two years to universities & colleges who submit work judged to show excellence, innovation, impact and benefit for the institution and for society generally in the wider world.

They presented awards to 21 UK university and colleges who are being recognised for a wide range of innovative work. Their representatives, deans, president were each given silver gilt medallion is given alongside a decorated and inscribed certificate granting the award, signed by Her Majesty The Queen.

After the ceremony, they joined their guests for a small reception at The Picture Gallery, with Princess Anne The Princess Royal joining them. Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Princess Royal spoke  representatives from Harper Adams Uni, which was awarded The Queen's Anniversary Prize for innovations in agricultural engineering in the pursuit of UK and global food security. Princess Anne is the Chancellor of University of London. The university was also present.

Prince Charles then went alone to the staff of Institute of Cancer Research and heard about their research work being done on pre-eminent work in cancer drugs discovery and University of Liverpool on drug design and safety with outstanding work in HIV, leukaemia and epilepsy.

Meanwhile The Duchess met with representatives from Arts University Bournemouth for leading education and training in costume design serving UK creative industries.
