His Royal Highness Prince Henry now His Royal Highness the Duke of Sussex and Meghan Rachel Markle now Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex tied the knot at St George's Chapel in Windsor.

A few hours before the wedding, it was announced that Her Majesty the Queen had conferred a Dukedom on her grandson; The Duke of Sussex. His titles are therefore Duke of Sussex, Earl of Dumbarton and Baron Kilkeel.

The Prince of Wales walked the bride down the aisle halfway through from the quire to the altar. This was announced a few days prior that the bride asked her father in law to walk her down the aisle after her father walked out.

The Service was led by the Dean of Windsor, was Solemnised by The Archbishop of Canterbury and the Address was given by Bishop Curry from the Episcopal Church in the USA.

A few poignant moments was when the Prince of Wales held the bride's mother's Doria Ragland's hands while going to sign the registry and at the end of the service where the Prince of Wales held both The Duchess of Cornwall and Doria's hands while step down the stairs.

Later in the evening, The Prince of Wales hosted the evening dinner at Frogmore House a few km from Windsor Castle.

For the wedding The Duchess wore a bespoke Fiona Ciare and a Philip Tracy floral hat

Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall are currently in the South of France for a royal visit. Their Royal Highnesses arrived yesterday and were welcome by Ambassador to France, Lord Llewellyn before attending commemorations to remember those who died during the attack on Le Promenade des Anglais in July 14th 2016.

At the end of the first official day, Their Royal Highnesses attended a reception at Villa Masséna to celebrate ties between the UK and Nice. During the reception The Prince of Wales was declared an Honorary Citizen of Nice by Mayor Estrosi.

On Saturday April 21st, Her Majesty blew her 92nd birthday candle. Her official one is in June for those in the UK and May 21st for those in Canada.

For the day, The Prince of Wales including members of the Royal family accompanied The Queen for her birthday concert hosted at Royal Albert hall which will benefit the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust.  Extended Royal Family member who were in attendance, including the the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, Duke of Cambridge, Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle, the Princess Royal and Sir Timothy, Peter and Autumn Phillips, the Duke of York, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie and fiance Mr. Jack Brooksbank, the Earl and Countess of Wessex, Lady Sarah and Daniel Chatto, the Duke of Kent, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, Princess Alexandra, and Prince and Princess Michael of Kent. And a surprising attendance from the Earl and Countess of Wessex's eldest child Lady Louise Windsor,

On Day 4 of the CommonWealth Head of Goverment Meeting, Buckingham Palace played setting for The Formal Opening took place in the Ballroom in Buckingham Palace.

The Duchess was in attendance.

Speeches were given from The Prince of Wales, The Prime Minister Theresa May,  the Commonwealth Secretary General Rt Hon Patricia Scotland QC and Head of the Commonwealth, Her Majesty The Queen.


Buckingham Palace once again provided the setting for a formal dinner to welcome Commonwealth leaders to London hosted by Her Majesty being the host.

The Duchess of Cornwall known as the Countess of Chester in the City of Chester was honoured by the University of Chester during their Graduation Ceremony today and was awarded in recognition of her commitment to promoting literacy.

As we all know The Countess is an avid reader and undertakes a number of engagements to promote the importance of supporting literacy, including the 500 Words Competition, an initiative which encourages children around the country to get creative and send in their stories of no more than 500 words, and the Man Booker Prize for Fiction.

According to Clarence House, The Countess said during a speech:  “I want to begin by thanking you, Chancellor, for the Honorary Doctorate that you have just bestowed upon me. I am grateful, too, for the Public Orator’s generous words and for the wonderfully warm welcome I have received today.

“As Countess of Chester, I take great pride in my relationship with both this beautiful city and now with your University.”

Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall celebrated the International Women's Day by hosting a reception to celebrate the Women of the World Festival (WOW) at Clarence House.

The Duchess of Cornwall hosted a reception at Clarence House to celebrate the Southbank Centre’s Women of the World Festival. This global event celebrates women and girls and looks at the obstacles that stop them from achieving their potential. HRH is President of the festival. According to Clarence House, "The global festival celebrates women and girls, and looks at the obstacles that stop them from achieving their potential." The Duchess is President of the London Southbank Centre's WOW, and met guests including singer Annie Lennox, entrepreneur Liz Earle, author Kate Mosse, broadcaster Mary Portas and author Kathy Lette at today’s event.

The Duchess began her short speech by welcoming "Ladies, and a smattering of very brave gentlemen" to her London home and praised the Women of the World Festival as "an astonishing creation". To continue she said: "This year, WOW will take place in 53 countries across the world.

Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Princess Royal spoke  representatives from Harper Adams Uni, which was awarded The Queen's Anniversary Prize for innovations in agricultural engineering in the pursuit of UK and global food security. Princess Anne is the Chancellor of University of London. The university was also present.
