Her Royal Highness visited communities in the Wiltshere County, Southwest of England where she carried a day of solo engagements. During her visit she opened a school and visited a brewery.
After opening the school she visited the Arkells Brewery in nearby Swindon to mark the brewery’s 175th anniversary. The brewery is a family owned business.
During her tour of the Brewery, The Duchess tried her hand at 'swinging the Valentine' – an essential part of the brewing process, where she helped brewed a batch of ale name The Duchess
She started her visit with a wonderful welcome from students and staff visit to St Mary's Church of England Primary School in Marlborough, which she officially opened.
