After months of preparation, days of media attention the Royal Wedding of 2018 happened with all eyes(about 200 milions views) were on Windsor.

His Royal Highness Prince Henry now His Royal Highness the Duke of Sussex and Meghan Rachel Markle now Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex tied the knot at St George's Chapel in Windsor.

A few hours before the wedding, it was announced that Her Majesty the Queen had conferred a Dukedom on her grandson; The Duke of Sussex. His titles are therefore Duke of Sussex, Earl of Dumbarton and Baron Kilkeel.

Her Majesty was accompanied by HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall and members of the Royal Family.



The Prince of Wales walked the bride down the aisle halfway through from the quire to the altar. This was announced a few days prior that the bride asked her father in law to walk her down the aisle after her father walked out.

The Service was led by the Dean of Windsor, was Solemnised by The Archbishop of Canterbury and the Address was given by Bishop Curry from the Episcopal Church in the USA.

A few poignant moments was when the Prince of Wales held the bride's mother's Doria Ragland's hands while going to sign the registry and at the end of the service where the Prince of Wales held both The Duchess of Cornwall and Doria's hands while step down the stairs.

Later in the evening, The Prince of Wales hosted the evening dinner at Frogmore House a few km from Windsor Castle.

For the wedding The Duchess wore a bespoke Fiona Ciare and a Philip Tracy floral hat

Earlier today the official photos from the wedding were release. These were taken in the Green Room at Windsor castle by Alexi Lubomirski after the procession.
