On their last visit in France, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall returned to Nice where they visited the Nice Flower Market on May 9th to meet stall holders and members of the public during their final engagement in France.

They visited a flower stall, a fruit and vegetable stall and a stall selling socca - a Nice speciality made from chickpea flour and olive oil.

Arrival in Greece:
After France, they then set off to Greece for the second part of their five-day tour. On landing in Athens, they were welcomed by Her Excellency Kate Smith, the British ambassador to Greece.
Their Royal Highnesses began their visit by attending to a remembrance service at the Memorial of the Unknown Soldier in Syntagma Square, Athens. The Memorial is dedicated to Greeks who have died fighting for their country.
After the service, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall met the President of Greece Prokopios Pavlopoulos and his wife First Lady Vlassia Pavlopoulou-Peltsemi at the Presidential Mansion.

After meeting the Presidential couple and a private exchange of gifts, The Prince of Wales arrived at the Maximos Mansion to meet the Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, while The Duchess of Cornwall went to the Benaki Museum escorted by the Prime Minister's partner, Betty Baziana.

During her visit, The Duchess was shown gold jewellery dating back to the First and Second Centuries, two early works by El Greco and a selection of Greek costumes, but told the tour guide: "I wish I had more time." During the visit, Her Royal Highness joked: "These are great paintings, my husband will be very jealous."
Before jointly attending an evening meal at the Presidential Mansion, The Prince of Wales received the leader of the Greek opposition, Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
